Improve Your Aerobic Endurance
Aerobic is a term that means “with air.” Improving your aerobic endurance means improving your body’s efficiency involving the relationship between oxygen and energy expenditure. Aerobic exercises are steady and longer in duration. The more you work on your aerobic endurance, the longer you can go and the easier it becomes.
With Tempo, you can improve your aerobic endurance no matter what your fitness level is. There is always room to get better, and Tempo makes sure to get you there. By tracking your movement and technique with our 3D sensor technology, we can see your form, progress, and areas to improve. Tempo gives you everything you need to reach the next level of endurance.
Learn How to Build Stamina with Expert Feedback
Learning to build your stamina is tricky. Obviously, continuous training will do something to improve your endurance and overall stamina, but what if you plateau? What do you do when you’re not seeing improvement for weeks? With Tempo, there is no guesswork with your fitness routine. Our coaches can provide you with expert feedback to help you reach that next goal.
Tempo provides you with tools to measure your performance, but it also provides you with custom guidance. It’s this combination that makes a big difference. When you have attainable goals and the right next steps to reach them, working out becomes much more encouraging. You see steady progress instead of hitting a wall and getting frustrated. With real-time feedback and dynamic exercises that push your limits, you’ll never want to workout any other way.
The Best Alternative to Zoom Classes
Tempo provides the perfect alternative to Zoom classes. In fact, Tempo is better than Zoom classes in just about every way. With Zoom classes, you get the convenience of at-home guided workouts, but you don’t get the personal attention that you would at an in-person class. With Tempo, you get the best of both worlds. You get an at-home workout and your coach can see your form and performance, allowing them to provide you with personal feedback.
Tempo also provides you with an app that will have your fitness plan laid out for you based on your personal goals. Tempo takes the convenience of at-home fitness and combines it with the one-on-one attention and personalization you get from a personal trainer at the gym. Plus, all of our coaches are elite experts, so you know you’re getting quality feedback. And it's great for people, no matter where you are in your fitness journey. Beginners can get the form and technique they need to succeed and see real, encouraging progress. Those at the intermediate level can overcome fitness plateaus, beat their benchmarks, and hit their latest goals. Those at the advanced skill levels can make the micro-adjustments necessary to progress, track performance, and find ways to push themselves even further.
Types of Cardiovascular Training
There are various different types of cardiovascular training. Tempo has you covered for whatever type of training is most beneficial for your goals and your progress. Here are some of the different types of cardio training we offer:
➤ Low-Intensity - Low-intensity cardio gets your body moving. These exercises typically are longer in duration and are perfect for those just getting started, to avoid injury and help build technique and form. These exercises are usually around 40% of your HR max.
➤ High-Intensity - High-intensity cardio exercises are great for burning calories, improving cardiovascular health, and reaching new heights for your fitness goals. These exercises typically push you to about 80% of your HR max.
➤ Steady-State - Steady-state cardio involves consistent levels of intensity throughout the workout. Usually, this will be a moderate level, but it can vary depending on the individual. As long as you maintain the same intensity throughout, it’s steady-state cardio.
➤ HIIT - HIIT, or high intensity interval training, involves short bursts of intense exercise with brief rests in-between. You can also do aerobic HIIT which involves more moderate bursts of exercise with shorter rests.
➤ Circuit - Circuit training can help with cardio and muscle endurance. Circuit training will involve a variety of bodyweight, resistance, and cardio exercises done in a circuit, with a set number of reps.
