Introducing the Tempo Move

Meet a new compact way to get personal training at home
Introducing the Tempo Move
We’re so excited to announce our newest product, the Tempo Move.
The Move brings the same elevated level of personal training that comes with our flagship Tempo Studio into an even smaller footprint. Using the 3D sensors on the iPhone and Tempo’s Smart System, the Move transforms your living room into a one-on-one training session with an expert coach whenever you want.
Tempo’s Smart System uses 3D TempoVision™ to scan and recognize our smart weights for accurate form feedback, guidance, and progress tracking—all in the name of reaching your fitness goals without ever having to leave your home or buy additional equipment. With the Move, access to technology, content, and personal guidance is now within reach for even more people.
Tempo’s CEO, co-founder and former personal trainer, Moawia Eldeeb started Tempo with the belief that everyone should have the tools to unlock their inner strength — and the Move is, well, a big move in that direction.
"Simply put, the fitness industry is broken. It continues to promise people that they are one piece of equipment away from their fitness goals, but what they’re really missing is a trainer -- someone who will guide them, teach them, and keep them on track," said Moawia Eldeeb. Tempo uses AI to make personal training accessible to everyone, and with the Move, we’re taking a huge step towards that goal.”

How Does the Tempo Move Work?

The Move’s sleek design is meant to maximize space and fit—literally—into any home. At just 2’ x 1’6” x 1’6”, the Move can easily double as your living space’s discussion piece or be rendered invisible by stowing it away in a closet or behind your media console whenever it’s not in use.
And when you’re ready to train, simply open the Move to unveil the included weight plates and dumbbells.
On top of the Move you’ll find the Tempo Core. That’s where your iPhone and Tempo meet. Dock your phone and make sure your Move is connected to your TV. And just like that, you’re ready to sweat.

By just using your phone and TV alongside the Core you’ll be able to train with world-class coaches through thousands of classes in a growing library spanning HIIT, strength training, mobility, yoga, meditation, barre, and more.

Once your TV and iPhone are connected via the Core, your phone’s 3D sensors will bring the Move’s personalized guidance to life. Know when your form needs modification, track your reps without even thinking about it, and monitor your progress as you get stronger. (As an added bonus, the Core will also charge your phone as you train.)

And just like the Studio, Move will learn from your previous performance to recommend the best weight for you to use for specific exercises and suggest classes that will get you closer to your goals. Tempo will get to know you, just as a personal trainer would.

What Do I Need to Train with the Tempo Move?

Currently, the Move is only compatible with the iPhone XR/XS and newer models. The Move uses the 3D sensors on the iPhone to capture the data needed to enable accurate form correction and rep counting. At this time, most Android devices lack these sensors. We are continually looking into the compatibility of forthcoming Android devices as well as Apple iPad in the future.
Using the Move also requires a TV or monitor with an HDMI input. Outside of that, everything you need to start hitting your fitness goals is included with the Move.
You had the makings of an elite gym in your home and you didn’t even know it.
Across both the Tempo Studio and the Move, you’ll have the same all-in-one access to personal training and real-time guidance, our ever-growing library of classes, and competition-grade equipment.

For those who are short on space, consider the Move. Besides being smaller in size, it also requires less space for Tempo’s real-time form feedback and rep-counting to work properly—6x6’ of space versus the Studio’s 6x8’. As most will already have a good amount of space in front of their televisions, the Move would be a seamless addition to the home.
