Introducing the Modification Filter

Find the right classes that accommodate injuries and physical restrictions.
Introducing the Modification Filter
Fitness journeys don’t look the same for everyone, and they’re anything from smooth. We start from different places, injuries happen, and we all have our own physical limitations. We see stories about this in the Tempo community quite often:

“I Injured my shoulder in January…I still don’t have full mobility…does anyone have any recommendations for low impact work-outs…that have low use of your shoulders?”
“Pregnant…any way to filter for classes that don’t do things that I have to be on my belly for?”
“Any recommendations for modifications and alternatives to push-ups and planks?”

Modification Filter

Our new Modification Filter on Studio and Android is our next step in making the Tempo training experience even more personalized. The filter will allow you to find classes that fit your current physical limitations.

To find this new filter, navigate to your Classes tab and open up the filters.

At the bottom of the screen you’ll see the “Modification” filter. You’ll be able to tap and open up a dropdown menu with different options for you to choose from. Simply choose what best applies to you and filter. You should see all classes that are generally safe for you; but as always, please check with a professional to ensure you’re training as safely as possible.
We're excited to bring this filter to Move and iOS in the future! Let us know what you think. If you have any feedback, please shoot our member experience team a note at hello@tempo.fit
